Administered and troubleshot the data network, which included carrier data circuits (T1, T3, E1, E3, DS3, OC3, ATM SONET and TDM) and all related data communications equipment. Performed installation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting tasks to support Army Japan G-1 users. Provided technical support and assisted with the installation of new software, versions and updates. Managed a complete life-time replacement of every G-1 desktop and completed the task in one month. Provided first-line technical help to Army Japan G-1 office and 2 NGOs consisting of over 50 users by analyzing software system failures, troubleshooting and identifying problem areas and planed recovery of systems. Responded to systems failures and performed diagnostic tests and analysis to isolate source of the problem.
